City Palace

Begun in the 16th century and completed over 300 years, City Palace in Udaipur is actually several palaces laid out in such a way that they appear as a single façade. Fusing traditional Rajasthani and Mughal styles, City Palace has ornate glass and ceramic mosaics, elaborate gateways, courtyards, corridors, and garden oases.

Bagore Ki Haveli

It is right on the waterfront of Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Amar Chand Badwa, the Prime Minister of Mewar, built it in the eighteenth century. The palace has over a hundred rooms, with displays of costumes and modern art. The glass and mirror in the interiors are Haveli's work. It also preserves an example of Mewar Painting on the walls of the Queen's Chamber. The two peacocks made from small pieces of colored glasses are examples of glasswork.

Lake Pichola

Pichola Lake was built in 1362 AD by Banjara, a gypsy "Banjara" tribesman who transported grain, during the reign of Maharana Lakha. Later, Maharana Udai Singh, impressed by the charm of this lake with the backdrop of green hills, founded the city of Udaipur on the banks of the lake and also enlarged the Lake by constructing a stone masonry dam in the Badipol region on the shore of the Lake.

Jagdish Temple

Jagdish Temple was built in 1651 and dedicated to the Hindu Lord Vishnu. The temple has an awe-inspiring 79 feet high pagoda adorned with sculptures of dancers, musicians, elephants, and horsemen. It is the city's largest and most resplendent temple.

Gangaur Ghat

Gangaur Ghat or Gangori Ghat is the main ghat situated near the waterfront of Lake Pichola in Udaipur. It is situated near the Jagdish Chowk area. It is known for Bagore-ki-Haveli, a popular tourist destination of the city.

Lake Fateh Sagar

Fateh Sagar Lake is situated in the city of Udaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is an artificial lake named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar, constructed north-west of Udaipur, to the north of Lake Pichola in the 1680s. It is one of the four lakes of the Udaipur city; the other three being: the Lake Pichola (within the Udaipur town), Udai Sagar Lake, 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) to the east of Udaipur, and Dhebar Lake or Jaisamand Lake, 52 km (32 mi) south east of Udaipur.

Conceived as a living ethnographic museum, it showcases the lifestyles of local indigenous communities. It is a good place to purchase traditional arts and crafts. The Vintage & Classic Car Collection is a car collection and a museum, showing all the vehicles belonging to the Maharanas of Mewar both past and present. The Vintage and Classic Car Museum has around 20 antique cars, including 4 Rolls-Royce's, 2 Cadillacs, one MG-TC convertible, one Ford-A Convertible, one Vauxhall-12, and several other exhibits like solar-powered rickshaws and many more

Saheliyon Ki Bari

Saheliyon Ki Bari is also known as the Garden or the Courtyard of Maidens. The fascinating Saheliyon Ki Bari Garden is situated on the banks of the Fateh Sagar Lake in Udaipur. As the name suggests, the garden was constructed for the maidens who accompanied the Princess when she got married to Maharana Sangram Singh. It has beautiful landscapes of lush green lawns, canopied walking lanes, and splendid fountains. According to the tourists, the Saheliyon ki Bari Udaipur is one of the best places in Udaipur to spend leisure time and rejuvenate with family and friends, or alone.

Monsoon Palace - Sajjangarh

A visit to this celebrated landmark is highly recommended. Originally built in the late 18th Century by Maharana Sajjan to serve as an observatory, the Maharana chose his perch well. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city and surrounding lakes, the rivers, and wooded hillsides. Watching the sunset from here is especially rewarding.
