CHILD POLICY:-
Child above 5 years shall be charged as per extra person rate .However should any child be above the age of 3-8 apart from the 1st child shall be charged 50% of the extra person rate without breakfast. This is not child friendly Hotel parents have to accompany the child all the time especially inner courtyards, swimming pool and terrace area.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY:-
Guest will be held responsible for any loss and damage to hotel property caused by themselves, their friends or any person for whom they are responsible. Hotel will levy damage charges as deemed fit.

Hotel Udaigarh is located on the eastern bank of Pichola lake in the old City of Udaipur. The hotel is a 5 minutes walk from the famous Jagdish Temple, Jagdish Chowk and the City Palace. Narrow streets and busy lanes lead to a charming area close to the lake called Lalghat. Often the lanes surprise a novice, on one hand due to the architectural beauty and historic features, on the other due to its busyness and slightly challenging maneuverability of Vehicles.
Chandpole gate and Surajpole gate are landmarks with-in the City that lead to Lalghat behind the Jagdish temple. We suggest all Travelers/Guests coming to Udaipur to be prepared for the narrow lanes and busyness of the streets as this is where the charm of the old city lies. The location of the City Palace, all major temples, bazaars, restaurants, ghats and the old lake Pichola is reached through these busy streets.
The old city may remain barricaded by the local Police during important festivals, processions and at other times when ruling government deems fit. During such occasions 4 wheelers are barred from entering the old city and are stopped at a convenient start point. Guests are hereby informed/requested to co-operate with the City Municipal Authorities and hire 3 wheeler auto rickshaws or walk to the hotel location at the eastern shore of Pichola lake at Lalghat. This is a limitation that persists with old cities all across our country. It’s our humble request to all visitors/Guests to comply with such government norms, that hotel can do very little about.
Chandpole gate and Rangniwas police station are two entrance points to the old city where the visiting guests can deboard for convenience of reaching the hotel. These are located at northern and eastern entry points to the old city respectively. Very often during festivals, processions and when municipal authorities deem fit the old city is barricaded for 4-wheelers. This may sometimes happen without a prior notice. When met with barricades at the entrance to the old city, we suggest guests to hire auto rickshaw to reach our hotel at lalghat. A mobile application called ‘Jugnoo’ comes in handy for economically priced easily available rickshaws.
Hotel Udaigarh is located in the old City with space limitations the hotel does not have private Parking facility. On arrival we can offer suggestions and assistance, but we do not take responsibility for Parking or its provision. Five minute walk away from Hotel Udaigarh is a large government run pay parking with Security guard. Most of the monuments City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Bagore Ki Haveli, Boat Ride, Bazaars, Restaurants and other places of interest are in easy walking distance from the hotel, the area is recently marked and conserved for tourist heritage walk therefore no tourist vehicle zone.
Our hotel does not have accommodation for drivers. We take no responsibility for such accommodation. We suggest Guests to preplan and pre-book driver’s accommodation in-order to avoid any surprise element. There are some hotels that provide economic accommodation to drivers coming to our city, such stay could be booked/arranged by Drivers themselves
